Overview

This is a 2nd shift position and the hours are Monday-Thursday from 3:30 pm - 2:00 am, with overtime, as needed. This position starts at $20.82 per hour.

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Cleaning Technician completes assigned maintenance/facility duties, working closely with other maintenance staff, machinists, and outside service vendors to assure facility and production processes run efficiently. They are responsible for maintaining all facility equipment and processes including waste streams, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Cleaning Technician Responsibilities:

1) Performs basic daily functions essential to the operation of the plant.

• Removes metal, cardboard, plastic and other waste streams from the production area. Uses carts, hoppers, and material handling equipment and forklift to transport it to the recycling area for processing and shipment.
• Monitors and maintains machine coolant. Cleans machine coolant tanks and maintains the coolant recycling system.
• Monitors and maintains RO water system.
• Assists all maintenance personnel and outside vendors as needed to complete repairs and other jobs related to machine tools and equipment as directed by Facilities/Maintenance Manager.
• Monitors and maintains, facility items such as doors, light bulbs, painting, and snow removal.
• Performs 6S in assigned areas and areas of responsibility.
• Orders parts and supplies to meet expected maintenance requirements. Maintains source information for parts and materials that are not stocked.

2) Assists in the movement of machines by disconnecting.

3) Performs basic maintenance and repair under supervision of Sr. Technicians.

4) Other assigned duties that contribute to the success of our team.

Qualifications

Maintenance Cleaning Technician Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Background in mechanical and electrical systems/knowledge is a plus.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Additional Information:

This position starts at $20.82 per hour. Compensation will increase based on experience and qualifications.
