Required Job Details:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development
• 10+ years and expert knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM and other mainframe technologies.
• Expert knowledge of DB2 Utilities (QMF and SPUFI).
• Strong knowledge of IBM Utilities such as IEBGENER, IDCAMS, ICETOOL, DEBUGGER(CICS and Batch), FILE MANAGER, SORT, Fault Analyzer.
• Experience in all components of software delivery including requirements, design, development, and testing.
• Experience with CHANGEMAN and CONTROL-M Scheduling.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Experience with mainframe software development tools and platforms (z/OS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications
• Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.
• Work with IT support teams (ex. DBA’s) to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented.
• Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
• Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing..
• Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle.
• On - call production support.
