Job Description

We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in a welcoming outpatient setting near Mercer, Wisconsin . This opportunity offers long-term stability as the facility continues its search for a permanent provider.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: April 07, 2025
• End Date: Ongoing assignment
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (no inpatient duties)
• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic
• Shifts: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days
• Patients Per Shift: 14–20
• Call Requirements: None

Practice Requirements:

• Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology is required
• Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Active BLS certification is required
• EMR System: Epic experience preferred
• Hospital privileges required (no temporary privileges available)

Support Staff & Environment:

• Collaborative environment with excellent support staff
• Support Staff Includes:
  • RNs: 8
  • NPs/PAs: 1.1
  • Office Staff: 4
• No supervision of advanced practice providers or residents required

Travel & Lodging:

• Nearest Airports
• Lodging recommendations include local hotels or Airbnbs in the area
• Travel and malpractice insurance provided by the vendor
