Litigation Legal Secretary - San Diego, CA.
A premier law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary with at least five years of experience in civil litigation and trial practice. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive support to attorneys across all aspects of case management.
* Collaborate with attorneys in the preparation, proofreading, revision, and finalization of legal documents.
* Conduct E-Filing in state, federal, and appellate courts.
* Manage confidential information, files, records, legal documents, and reports.
* Perform intake and conflicts checks, process time entries, and handle client billing.
* Maintain attorneys' calendars, coordinate travel, schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences.
* Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation law; California-specific experience is preferred.
* Positive attitude, proactive mindset, flexibility, and a strong team player.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Professional.
* Expertise in electronic document management systems, with a deep understanding of local rules and procedures for filing in California and Federal courts, as well as e-filing and calendaring.
* Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills.
* Excellent writing and proofreading abilities with keen attention to detail.
* Capability to prioritize tasks based on urgency, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Willingness to work overtime when required.
* Experience with iManage and Compulaw is a plus.
