Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and talented Line Cook to join our teams. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food experiences to our valued customers. We are a fun and energetic taproom, deeply rooted in the craft industry, and we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about being part of our team. Excellent communication skills and a reliable work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, following our recipes and guidelines.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared with precision and attention to detail, maintaining consistent taste, texture, and presentation.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during busy periods.
• Assist in developing and refining menu items, incorporating creativity and a passion for the craft industry.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying the kitchen manager or supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries, ensuring the quality and accuracy of received items.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
• Uphold excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with front-of-house staff and ensure smooth service.
• Embrace opportunities for growth and development, participating in training programs and actively seeking to expand culinary knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
• Passion for the craft industry, with a genuine interest in food and beverage trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality and presentation of dishes.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic work area.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.
• A culinary degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus.
