Job Summary: The Landscaping Crew Leader at U S Lawns of Roanoke is a full-time, hourly position in the franchise industry located in Roanoke, Virginia. This individual contributor role is responsible for leading a team of landscapers to provide high-quality landscape maintenance and beautification services to various commercial properties. The Crew Leader plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the visual appeal and functionality of the properties we serve. Compensation & Benefits: The Landscaping Crew Leader position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16 to $20 per hour, paid weekly. Additionally, this position is eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within the company. Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of landscapers to complete daily tasks and projects in a timely and efficient manner
• Oversee all aspects of landscape maintenance, including mowing, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and weed control
• Ensure that all work is performed according to company standards and client specifications
• Train and mentor new team members on proper landscaping techniques and safety procedures
• Monitor the quality of work performed by team members to ensure client satisfaction
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns or inquiries
• Assist with snow removal and other seasonal tasks as needed
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field
• Proven experience in team leadership and supervision
• Knowledge of plant varieties and landscaping techniques
• Ability to operate and maintain various landscaping equipment (e.g. lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
