Job Title: Land Surveyor Job Description The position as a Licensed Land Surveyor (Office-Based) is responsible for the technical oversight and preparation of surveying deliverables in support of land development, municipal, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include close collaboration with field crews, engineers, and clients to ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all surveying documents. This role does not include department management or field responsibilities. Essential Skills + Land surveying + Surveying + Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey-related software + Experience with topography, ALTA, and topographic surveys + Civil 3D + Land development + California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in good standing + 5+ years of experience in land surveying + Knowledge of boundary law, mapping procedures, and California Subdivision Map Act requirements + Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + Passion for mentoring and supporting the growth of technical staff Work Environment This is an office-based role that involves working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team. The work environment includes the use of technologies such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and other survey-related software. The role does not require field responsibilities or department management. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
