Land S urvey C A D Te c h n i c i an to f i l l a k e y p o s it i o n i n its L a nd S u r v e y de pa r t m ent. T he ap p l i c ant will work i n c o n ju n ction w i th Prof e s s i o nal Land Surv e yors to p e r f o rm a w i de v ar i ety of s u r v ey-related t a s k s in an off i c e se t t i n g, located in our Groton, CT or Plainville, CT offices. The i d eal c an d i d a t e w i ll have s tr o ng organ i z atio n al ski l l s a nd be a da ptab l e to f i l l several r o l e s w h i le w o r k ing effec t i v e ly wi t h p l ann i ng, e n g i nee r i n g, and su r v e ying t eam m e m b e r s.

- Cr e ate and i n te r p r e t 3D surf a c e m o d e l s, t r i a ng u l a ted i rr e gul a r netw o r ks, and contours.
- P r e pa r e c o n str u c tion staking da ta for f i e l d c r e ws u s i n g const r uct i o n p l an se t s.
- Cr e ate po i n t s, c ente r l i n es, a nd p r o f i l e s for con s t r u cti o n s t a k i n g.
- P r o c ess and interpr e t s u r v ey d ata collec t ed i n the f i e l d.
- P e r f o r m re s earch and g a ther data for ne w and o n going pro j e c ts.
- M a i nt a in a n d o r g a n i ze d i g i t al an d paper surv e y r e cor d s.
- C o l labora t e with p l a nners, p r o j e c t m an age r s and e ng i n ee r s r egard i n g proj e cts.

Quali f i ca t i o n s: - M in i m um o f 4 y e a r s of sur v ey r e l ated A u t oC A D or Civil 3 D ex p e r ien c e p r e fe r r ed.
- E x perie n ce with land su r v ey s pe c ific p r o c e ssing software - Carl s o n Su r v e y p r e ferred.
- A n associate degree i n a S u rvey R e l a t ed F i e l d a nd/or fo r m a l C A D train i ng p r eferr e d.
- A b il ity to read and interpret p r operty l e gal d escripti o n s , ea s e m ents, and r i g ht s - o f - way.
- A b il ity to u n derst a nd c o nstr u c t ion p l a ns an d ge n eral c onst r u ct i on p r i n ciples.
- Gene r a l know l edge of f i e l d su r v ey p r o c e dur e s a n d eq u ip m e n t
- P r e v io u s surv e y f i eld crew e x p e r ience preferr e d.
- E x perie n ce with M i c r o s o ft O ff ice and G o o g l e Earth P r o
