Job Title: Kitchen Lead

Compensation: $17.50–$19.00 per hour (based on experience) + tips (typically an additional $5–$8/hr)

Schedule: Evening availability required; minimum of 25 hours per week with the opportunity for more.

Overview:

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced  Kitchen Lead to oversee back of house operations in a fast paced, high energy environment. This role is hands on and focused on maintaining high standards of food prep, cleanliness, and team accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead kitchen staff during prep and service
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards (ServSafe required)
• Manage ordering and inventory
• Support team communication and morale
• Monitor prep production and line efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Proven kitchen leadership experience
• Strong understanding of ServSafe and food handling protocols
• Ability to work evening shifts and commit to 25+ hours per week
• Skilled in prep work, line cooking, and team coordination
• Experience with ordering and inventory systems preferred

Additional Info:

This position is  non-exempt and eligible for tips. Tips typically add $5–$8 per hour to the base wage. We're looking for someone dependable, communicative, and ready to be a positive force in the kitchen.
