Position Overview

We are looking for an Online Content Moderator who is a native or fluent German speaker to join our team in Malta. In this role, you will be tasked with reviewing and moderating online content to ensure it adheres to community guidelines and standards. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility between remote and on-site work, with shifts scheduled from 7 PM to midnight.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and moderate user-generated content on various platforms to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Identify and take action against inappropriate content as necessary.
• Monitor online interactions to help maintain a safe and respectful user environment.
• Document findings and escalate issues when needed.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance moderation processes and guidelines.
• Provide insights on trends or issues identified during moderation activities.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent German speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English is a plus.
• Previous experience in content moderation or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of online community standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills with effective time management.
