- Create a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business.
- Define and validate the business needs of various stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Determine solutions to problem areas that have been identified or may be identified in the performance of the project.
- Evaluate potential solutions to ensure they meet business needs and comply with government regulations.
- Assist in the management of change as new systems and processes are implemented.
- Gather and define business requirements from stakeholders and other relevant actors.
- Analyze requirements from stakeholders and convert them into detailed project specifications.
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they deliver the expected benefits.
- Facilitate communication between the team to ensure clear understanding and effective implementation.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed systems to determine their viability.
- Analyze project data to ensure alignment with business objectives and reporting on project status to stakeholders.
- Provide budgeting and forecasting for the team.
- Provide planning and monitoring support.
- Provide financial model(s) and map out processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide variance analysis.
- Provide pricing and reporting support.
- Conduct market analyses.
Required Skills and Experience
- Outstanding communication skills.
- An ability to work with multiple stakeholders who may have competing priorities.
- A strong background in process modeling and data analysis.
- 5+ years of experience with requirements gathering techniques.
- 5+ years of experience with business process reengineering and improvement techniques.
- Previous federal government experience supporting IT requirements elicitation.
Professional Certifications n/a
Years of Professional Experience Five (5) years of professional experience
Desired experience Previous experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) highly preferred
Formal Education BA/BS degree
Citizenship Requirement U.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunity
Security Clearance Requirements Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (NACI)
