Job Title: Java / C++ Developer
Job Location: Remote
Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance and complete a favorable background check.

Kwaan Bear Technology (KBT) We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Java / C++ Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications and systems within an agile environment. As a Senior Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software solutions and help shape the technical direction of our projects.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance applications using Java and C++ in an agile environment.

• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer and business needs.

• Participate actively in all agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure project goals are met efficiently.

• Troubleshoot and optimize code to improve performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation for developed applications and processes.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• Preferred 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java and C++ development in an agile environment.

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and adaptation.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).

• Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git.

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks is a plus.
