As an IT Security Manager at Ajaib, you will lead the organization’s efforts to protect its information and technology assets from cyber threats. This role involves establishing security policies, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with other IT teams to create a robust security environment that safeguards our systems and data.

Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing robust security strategies, policies, procedure and standards to protect the company’s assets, employees and facilities.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security technologies such as SIEM, intrusion detection and prevention systems, WAF, etc.
Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
Leading and managing a team of security personnel, including hiring, training and performance management.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into business processes and projects.
Conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Maintaining and updating emergency response plans, ensuring all employees know their roles and responsibilities.
Manage security incident response, including conducting investigations and determining the root cause of security breaches.
Manage risk assessments, security audits, and penetration testing to identify and prioritize security risks.
Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
Provide training and awareness programs to employees on information security best practices and procedures
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security or a related field, with leadership experience.
In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Availability to respond to security alerts outside of business hours.
Certification in information security is preferable
Risk analysis/assessment experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and security monitoring tools
