Job Description

Position Summary:

The International Accounting Manager will perform daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of Market Taiwan, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
• Analyze accounting data to produce financial reports.
• Monitor cash balances, prepare weekly cash flow, and reconcile bank accounts.
• Supervise and train accounting staff. Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Assist external tax preparer to ensure accuracy and timeliness of governmental filings.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Direct communication with foreign branch to monitor operations.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• All departments.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Ability to direct and supervise a team effectively.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least three to five years of experience in accounting.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

Skills:

• Proficient use MS Office Products.
• Above moderate level of English speaking, writing, and reading comprehension; active listening; critical thinking; judgment; mathematics; evaluation; and attention to detail.
