Job Title: Insurance Verification Specialist

Location: Tulsa, OK (Onsite)

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $16 – $18 per hour 

System One is partnering with a Specialty Care Clinic in Tulsa to hire an experienced Insurance Verification Specialist . This role is key in ensuring patients have accurate coverage, proper authorizations, and a clear understanding of their benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage.

• Obtain and document prior authorizations for procedures/referrals.

• Communicate with insurance companies, providers, and patients to resolve issues.

• Review policies to confirm benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and costs.

• Maintain accurate records in the EHR system.

• Support billing to ensure smooth claims processing.

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Associate’s preferred.

• 2–3 years of experience in insurance verification, prior authorization, or medical billing.

• Strong knowledge of insurance processes and terminology.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and healthcare software.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and strong communication skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
