Are you a meticulous and experienced Inpatient Facility Medical Coder looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team with the option to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately code inpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures to ensure accurate coding.
• Review and resolve coding edits and denials.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of inpatient facility coding experience.
• Certification from AHIMA (CCA, CCS) or AAPC (CPC, CIC) required.
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
