Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsibilities
As part of our inpatient coding team, you'll be responsible for:
Resolving coding-related alerts and edits on a daily basis.
Documenting detailed notes for unresolved issues or escalations.
Collaborating with team members to minimize billing delays and ensure accuracy.
Reviewing payer denial letters and assisting in the appeals process.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in HIM/HIT preferred.
Relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, or CCS are preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of acute care inpatient coding experience required; 3 years preferred.
