Position Description

Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Installs and repairs wiring, breakers, light packages, conduit, outlets, switchgear, transformers, disconnects and transfer switches
2. Designs, installs, programs and builds advanced electronic circuitry
3. Reads, comprehends, and understands complicated electronic circuit diagrams and manuals.
4. Diagnoses malfunctions and repairs complex electronic control systems
5. Establishes a role as the go to expert on electrical design and repair of mobile power generators and controls.
6. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Experienced in AC & DC power generation and trouble shooting 
• Experienced with switchable multiphase power distribution and controls
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

High School diploma

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.

Generally good working conditions.

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
