Position: Sr. UX Researcher

Location: Westlake, TX ( Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

The Team & Role

This role is part of the UXD & Digital Experience team creating experiences for donors, advisors, and internal associates. It is a senior level position where the associate will develop and manage the UX research practice from the ground up. Responsibility will be to collaborate with the Director of Design and business partners to understand, plan and execute the research needs for the upcoming year based on the business roadmap as well as foundational UX metrics.

The Expertise You Have

• 10+ years of UX Research experience preferred
• Documented experience leading and managing the day-to-day operations of research, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively is a must
• Documented experience developing and implementing longer range plans to drive the research practice forward, aligning with business goals and objectives is a must
• Digital portfolio to review online is preferred

• Project Management: Expertise in managing multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Research planning and execution: Ability to define research questions and select appropriate research methods. Develop protocols, recruit participants and conduct the research.
• Data analysis: Collect data, ensure data quality, and analyze to identify patterns, trends and themes in various data sets to uncover actionable insights.
• Create Research Reports: Develop comprehensive research reports and presentations to effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to collaborators.
• Advocate for Users: Act as the voice of the user, ensuring that their needs, behaviors, and motivations are at the forefront of product and design decisions.
• Industry Best Practices: Up-to-date with the latest UX research trends, tools, and standard processes to ensure innovative and effective research approaches and collaboration with research and data partners.
• Partner Collaboration: Liaise with multi-functional teams and leadership to align research initiatives with business priorities and deliver actionable insights.
