HVAC Installer

As an HVAC Installer, you will work with our mechanical projects team to complete commercial mechanical equipment change out, retrofit and installation projects. Typical projects include installation, replacements and retrofits of HVAC equipment, sheet metal / ductwork, piping and other related materials and systems.

Job Duties

• Reading and comprehending drawings, scopes & equipment submittals
• Knowledgeable of local mechanical codes for estimating & inspections
• Estimates for job pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete the job
• Layout of duct work for install and coordination with other trades
• Installation of sheet metal, fibrous board and flex duct, dampers, and air devices
• Measuring & drawing up sheet metal duct fittings to be ordered
• Hanging/setting of exhaust fans, louvers, units & other mechanical equipment
• Hanging of copper, PVC & piping hangers for refrigerant, condensate & CHW piping
• Insulation of ductwork with exterior fiberglass wrap
• Low voltage control wiring for thermostats, dampers, heaters, and other control devices
• Copper brazing, equipment startup and troubleshooting a plus
• Daily communication of work completed through company table

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience within the HVAC trade
• Must have EPA certification
• Refrigeration knowledge
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Able to work independently 
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pass an onsite drug test 
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
