Job Description

The internship is designed for those individuals with little to no prior work experience who are seeking to grow professionally before entering the human resources profession.
As an intern, you will be provided the training required of the position in banking organizations.

Includes the following,


• Learn to timely manage business-focused tasks using learned and critical thinking skills.


• Provide support to full time staff members.


• Develop networking and professional relationships with team members.


• May assist in:


o Completing daily reports


o Learning HR software systems


o Routine functions of daily HR activities


o Interacting with employees to complete tasks

• Good communication


• Organized


• Professionalism in attitude and appearance


• Confidentiality


• Work assigned schedules


• Must be able to follow bank policies

• Must be a current full time student enrolled for at least 12 hours per semester or have just graduated.


• Grade point average of 2.5 or above.


• U.S. citizen or possess documentation to work within the U.S.


• Available to work meaningful hours that coincide with the bank's schedule.

Applications and selection of interns are approved initially for one semester. At the end of the semester, the business need and relationship with the intern will be evaluated to determine if an additional semester of employment will be granted. Austin Bank has approved five interns per semester and need will be evaluated among the various areas of the bank.
