Summary - Human Resources Administrative Assistant : We are seeking candidates interested in supporting the human resources and safety functions of a construction company in Kansas City, MO. This is a role where you can make a big impact through the support you will be providing to the Human Resource Manager. This is an on-site work opportunity Monday-Friday during normal business hours with some flexibility on start and end times.

Responsibility Summary - Human Resources Administrative Assistant:

• Set up and manage employment screenings (drug tests, BAT’s, fit for duty tests, etc.)
• Manage applicable union communications (i.e. letters of intent, eligibility verifications, etc.)
• Manage employee records
• Support field employees with devices & software
• Manage relationship with 3rd party technology consultants
• Manage cell phone service provider accounts
• Other human resource and workforce compliance/administrative tasks

Qualification Summary - Human Resources Administrative Assistant :

• High school diploma
• Professional demeanor
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and productively both independently and with a wide variety of people
• Able to adapt quickly and effectively to unexpected changes in a positive manner
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively
• Proficient in Excel and Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat Reader
• Possess a general understanding of human resource principles
• Experience in the construction industry and Vista Viewpoint is an advantage
