We are looking to hire an experienced, hands-on, year-round, full-time HouseManager to oversee a busy family's private mountainside vacation home located in Aspen, CO. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational and hospitality skills and will be enthusiastic about taking on a wide range of tasks and provide personal service to the family. Immediate interviews with a September start date. Responsibilities: Ensure the residence, grounds, and all systems are properly maintained and are in excellent working condition. Schedule, coordinate, and provide oversight of the maintenance for the property. Schedule and meet with subcontractors for estimates on seasonal maintenance projects and submit for approval, supervise subcontractors Always take ownership for the security of the residence; respond to fire/burglar alarms. Test appliances and home systems on a regular basis. Oversee vendors and service providers (i.e.: pest control, landscaper, snow removal, dcor, etc.). Maintain sufficient inventories of household supplies. Oversee and work hands-on with housekeeper, maintain staff scheduling and timekeeping, and manage quality and household standards Proactively prepare the residence (clean, tidy, fully-stocked and arrival ready) and procure all requested amenities for family visits including vehicles, bikes, sports equipment, etc. Provide transportation for family and friends as needed (airport pick-up/drop-offs), run errands (dry cleaning, package delivery). Execute season opening and closing tasks Oversee and maintain offsite storage; coordinating item retrieval and return of requested items (furniture, decor, etc.) Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of household management and administrative support duties. Strong organizational, time-management, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to have a cohesive and effective working relationship with the residence's housekeeping and administrative staff. Maintaining and demonstrating high confidentiality and discretion; prompt and clear communication are paramount. Schedule: This is a full-time, year-round, live-out opportunity. The general work schedule is Monday through Friday when the principals are not in residence. When family is in residence, House Manager will be on duty and/or available and additional working days and hours should be expected; this may include holidays, weekends, evenings, school breaks, etc. Compensation: The base salaryfor this roleis $150,000 based onqualifications and experience, and benefits.
