The Ohio Department of Insurance is seeking numerous individuals to work on a temporary basis from September 9 - December 13, 2024 (Monday-Friday- 8:00am-5:00pm) to assist callers during the Medicare Open Enrollment Period. THESE POSITIONS ARE TEMPORARY IN NATURE AND WILL NOT LEAD TO PERMANANT EMPLOYMENT. The ideal candidates must have excellent communication skills, strong data analysis abilities, have the capability to remain positive in a fast-paced environment.

Your Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Successful candidates must have and maintain internet at their remote location during normal working hours. In addition, employees must reside in Ohio and within a reasonable distance from the Department location to respond to workplace reporting requirements.

24 months experience in insurance field (i.e., regulatory or industry) working with insureds or insurance contracts (e.g., health; life; annuities; personal lines; commercial lines); 6 months experience or 6 months training in operation of personal computer or mainframe computer; 1 course in basic mathematics.
