Hotel Front Desk Agent (Night Audit/3rd Shift) Location Holland, MI :

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time Shift: 11 PM - 7 AM

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and provide exceptional service to our guests during the night shift. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, performing nightly audits, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nightly Audit: Perform end-of-day procedures, including verifying and reconciling all transactions from the day, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Guest Services: Provide outstanding customer service to guests, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting with check-ins and check-outs.
  • Front Desk Operations: Monitor the front desk area, manage phone calls, and respond to any emergency situations that may arise during the night.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily revenue reports and communicate discrepancies or issues to the management team.
  • Security: Ensure the safety and security of guests and the hotel property during the night shift.
  • Additional Duties: Perform general clerical duties, assist with housekeeping requests, and manage inventory of supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or night audit is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in operating computers and hotel reservations software (FOSSE).
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that require bending, walking, and reaching.
