A health system is seeking a hospitalist for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located in eastern North Carolina.This is a 7 AM 7 PM locum tenens position at a 19-bed critical access hospital with general med-surg beds. The provider will manage an average inpatient census of 12-15, handle 5-6 admissions per day, respond to codes, and evaluate ED patients for admission. Responsibilities include admissions, rounding, inpatient care, and discharge preparation, with documentation in EPIC EMR. There is no ICU.
