Job Description

Salary: $143,320 - 273,930 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related discipline; OR 4 years of pertinent work experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics may substitute for a degree.
  • 8 years of experience in data and analytics or a relevant technical/business function; OR 6 years of experience if holding an advanced degree in a STEM discipline.
  • 3 years of direct experience in team leadership or management.
  • Proven experience leading teams in conducting cost-benefit analyses and applying results to enhance business intelligence solutions.
  • Familiarity with overseeing teams in authoring business intelligence solutions for large-scale complex projects.
  • Advanced skills in facilitation, collaboration, and building consensus, with extensive experience presenting to cross-functional teams and Senior/Executive leaders.
  • Subject matter expertise in creating and applying business intelligence practices and problem-solving strategies.
  • Proven experience in coaching others to articulate needs into measurable requirements.
  • Expert knowledge of regulatory compliance, industry regulations, risk management practices, and regulatory data sources.
  • Proficient in developing business deliverables using business intelligence platforms and data management tools such as SQL-based languages, Tableau, Business Objects, and similar technologies.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in integrating intuitive storytelling within business intelligence solutions, including the presentation of complex technical information.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the team in alignment with departmental and enterprise objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain internal customer relationships through effective team management and brand initiatives.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports, including talent development and career progression planning.
  • Oversee the quality and volume of team outputs to ensure business value delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, risk management, and internal controls within the team.
  • Analyze industry trends and best practices for integration into current processes and strategic development initiatives.
  • Serve as a strategic partner and expert advisor to business partners in decision support solutions.
  • Encourage innovation and provide guidance on work prioritization, capacity management, and problem resolution.
  • Hold team members accountable for achieving performance objectives and build business-oriented development plans.
  • Collaborate with IT to enhance core information delivery capabilities and help process owners phase out key UDAs.
  • Provide thought leadership in influencing inventory, application architecture decisions, and keeping abreast of industry standards.
  • Ensure effective identification, measurement, monitoring, and control of risks associated with business activities in accordance with compliance policies.
