Founded in 2013 by David Natanov , Greenroad Capital is a commercial real estate investment firm specializing in multifamily, office, industrial, and hotel properties and loans. Their mission is to uncover embedded asset value through meticulous research and analysis, delivering above-market returns to the partners. With extensive experience across the real estate investment lifecycle, they excel in sourcing, financing, management, leasing, and disposition of opportunistic assets.
Currently, Greenroad Capital is seeking a Junior Real Estate Financial Analyst to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting real estate development business by preparing financial models, conducting market studies, tracking their investment pipeline, managing financial analysis, and creating investor presentations. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the company capitalize on opportunities that might otherwise be missed due to the current workload.
Key responsibilities:
Financial modeling: prepare detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and project cash flows.
Financial analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis to support investment strategies and decision-making processes.
Investor reports: create visually appealing PowerPoint presentations for investors and lenders.
Market studies: conduct comprehensive market studies to support investment decisions.
Pipeline tracking: maintain and update the investment pipeline to ensure timely and accurate tracking of potential deals.
Key requirements:
Excellent English & communication skills - you'll communicate with native English speakers in the US, so we expect you to have a minimum of an Advanced level and for sure we don't want to see or hear any mistakes.
Ongoing or complete Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
Up to 2 years of experience in similar financial modeling tasks during internships or full-time work.
Strong understanding of financial terms and principles, including Income Statement, Discounted Cash Flow, Sources & Uses, IRR, NPV, Time Value of Money, Return on Equity, etc.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
Analytical skills - you can analyze, structure, and work with financial data, and come up with conclusions based on the information you receive. You are expected to demonstrate financial statement awareness, such as working with Excel spreadsheets, finance data, software tools, and financial modeling.
Excellent attention to detail – you should be the person who cares about every small detail while working with numbers.
Strong self-reliance & the ability to create solutions and make decisions on your own with the minimum required confirmations. If you don't know something, you need to be independent enough to Google, ask team members, and not get stuck on a problem.
Be a proactive team player who's not afraid to speak up for your own opinion - seriously, the company is looking for a person with many ideas, not just an executor.
Organizing skills - you know exactly how to organize your work and personal time and don't want any minute to go to waste.
Working hours:
You’ll need to adjust your schedule to overlap with the team from 9 am to 6 pm EST every day ( check the time difference via the link ).
