Company Overview:
We are a leading construction trade company working on large-scale projects across the United States. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Granite Countertop Project Manager to take full ownership of all current and future granite countertop projects. This leadership role requires strong project management skills, expertise in granite countertops, and the ability to manage relationships with both overseas suppliers and internal teams.

Position Overview:
As the Granite Countertop Project Manager , you will be the primary point of contact between the company and our overseas granite countertop manufacturers, as well as the liaison for our sales team, site managers, and project managers. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of countertop projects, from sourcing suppliers to coordinating field deliveries and maintaining quality control. Your role will also include training employees on countertop installation and solving any issues that arise during project execution.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with granite countertops, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead teams using the LMA-EOS framework (Lead, Manage, Accountability). You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:

  • Oversee and take full ownership of all granite countertop projects from start to finish.
  • Act as the main point of contact with overseas factories for sourcing and production of countertops.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the sales team, site managers, and project managers to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Ensure all project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

• Supplier & Installer Management:

  • Source new countertop suppliers and installers to ensure the best quality and pricing for current and future projects.
  • Maintain strong relationships with overseas manufacturers and negotiate contracts and terms as needed.

• Employee Training & Advising:

  • Train and advise employees on countertop installation, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure that all staff members are knowledgeable about granite countertops.

• Issue Resolution & Problem-Solving:

  • Take ownership of solving any issues that arise during countertop projects, whether related to installation, sourcing, or manufacturing delays.
  • Act as the key decision-maker for resolving project challenges to keep work on track.

• Field Coordination & Deliveries:

  • Coordinate field deliveries of granite countertops to job sites, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Visit job sites to oversee countertop installations and verify that quality standards are being met.

• Quality Control & Job Site Visits:

  • Ensure quality control for all granite countertops by inspecting shipments and installations.
  • Conduct job site visits to ensure projects are progressing according to plan and identify any areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with granite countertops preferred and strong project management experience.
• Skills: Expertise in project management, with a proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with both internal teams and overseas suppliers.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex project issues and keep work on track.
• LMA-EOS Framework: Experience in leading, managing, and holding teams accountable through the LMA-EOS framework.
