Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Friant, California is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
Manages, supervises and coordinates activities of workers by establishing job assignments on a weekly basis. Monitors and supervises crews for performance and productivity, ensuring lawns are groomed and fertilized. Supervise five (5) subordinates. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The person fulfilling this position must be capable of performing the following, but not limited to:
• Oversees skilled tasks for the maintenance and operation of golf course buildings and grounds.
• Develops and maintains a golf course maintenance management system.
• Creates and updates golf course maintenance and operating procedures and methods within limits of departmental policies and procedures.
• Determines, calculates, and secures the appropriate materials and supplies for specific projects.
• Inspects golf course maintenance and improvement services provided by contractors or vendors for compliance with performance standards.
• Ensures tools and equipment are properly maintained and kept in proper working condition.
• Manages the condition and maintenance of the golf course.
• Supervises the Golf Course Maintenance Division.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from a University unless otherwise waived by Tribal Council as based on determined experience and accomplishments.
Three (3) to five (5) years related experience as well as other relevant education or work experience.
California Class C driver’s license.
Must have a clean driving record that is acceptable to Table Mountain Rancheria’s insurer.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of documents and records.
Compensation:
$85,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year.
