Hello Caregivers! 

Our sweet family in Gloucester is seeking a compassionate full time nanny for their infant son. Candidates must have experience caring for infants/toddlers, a good understanding of developmental milestones, and experience providing age appropriate opportunities for engagement & play. Ideal candidates have knowledge around safe keeping of breast milk, bottle feeding, and infant nap schedules. The family has an additional older child that is enrolled in full time school and does not require regular care. This position requires some flexibility, as Mom owns a local store and sometimes needs to work on Saturdays. Schedule will be communicated in advance of each month but will always guarantee a minimum of 35 hours paid per week. Family would love a nanny that is comfortable taking baby on outings, adventures, and to playgroups. Candidates willing to provide occasional date-night care preferred. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply! This position's contract requires a 1 year commitment. 

Base Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days per week, between the hours of 8:00am-6:00pm (No Sundays!) 

* Some Saturdays Required 

Charges: Boy, 8 months old

Hourly  Rate: $25.00 per hour

Benefits:  Guaranteed 35 hours minimum pay/week, 2 weeks (10 days) paid vacation time

Start Date : August 25th 2025

Job description:

• Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the child
• Facilitating engaging and age appropriate activities, games, and outings 
• Maintaining child's schedule, including naps and wake-windows
• Preparing meals, snacks, and bottles for child
• Indoor and outdoor play
• Transporting child to and from activities (caregiver's vehicle)
• Walks and plenty of outdoor time 
• Tidying up after the work day, child-related tidying and organization

Requirements:

• 3+ years professional infant childcare experience
• Can commit to a 1 year contract
• Flexibility with reasonable advanced notice
• Self-starter with a pitch-in attitude 
• Non-smokers only, please. 
• Up-to-date CPR/First Aid Certification
• Cheery and Helpful Disposition
• Background Check (provided by agency)
• Driving Record (provided by agency)
• Excellent communication skills 
• Excellent organization skills
• Takes good direction on parenting style then requires minimal to no oversight

Nice to haves:

• Additional certifications. 
• Additional languages (Dad speaks some French and Grandma speaks Spanish to the children)
