Join our team as a Generator Service Technician with NW Heating & Ai r in Bremerton, WA ! We are a locally owned team that serves the surrounding community with electrical, standby generator, and HVAC services. Having been in business 30 years, we have built a reputation for the highest quality work and develop trusting relationships with our customers.

What you'll do:

• Work independently with residential and commercial standby generators.
• Manage product inventory and tools needed for service, maintenance, and repairs.
• Drive a company vehicle to local job sites, typically conducting 5-8 service calls per day.
• Service and repair generators: change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc.
• Perform on-site planned services, diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting for customers generators (including DC & AC voltage equipment).
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to homeowners.

What you'll bring:

• 2+ years of experience with engine repairs, HVAC systems, or generators.
• Mechanical proficiency with internal combustion engines, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of generator services, regulations, electrical systems, and transfer switches.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, blueprints, schematics, and service manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work outside.
• A valid drivers license.
