Description :
Entrance Station Attendant: Meet and greet visitors coming into Custer State Park with a pleasant and friendly attitude and provide information on the Park and the surrounding Black Hills. Sell entrance licenses and collect associated fees. Open, close, keep facilities clean and orderly, and work with your team.

General Requirements :
Ability to work with park visitors and associated staff, work independently or as a team, stand for long periods of time, and in a variety of weather conditions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Ability to work with money, stay organized, balance books, and operate a computer POS system.

Other Information :
Seasonal housing is available. The charge is $4.00 a day for dorms, cabins, and campsites. Security deposit of $150.00 is required for dorms and cabins.

Please note this is a temporary or seasonal, non-benefited position, exempt from civil service.
