Hourly Rate of $15.00 an Hour PAID WEEKLY! 

This position is to support the Notre Dame Bookstore during the playoff game weekend against Indiana!  Ideal candidates will be available to work this game weekend from 12/16 - 12/21/2024

Available shifts this game weekend are: 

Shifts:

• Thursday - Saturday: All Shifts (Anything from 11am-930pm) 
• For football weekends, most shifts (with open availability) will work a full 6-8-hour day

Job Description:

This is a seasonal position at the campus bookstore that may require you to have availability to work on a weekly basis for a period of less than 90 days with occasional weekends, and flexibility in scheduling for opening, midday, or closing shifts. Seasonal employees can work in one or a variety of departments and are typically scheduled to work varying or set schedules on a weekly basis.

Expectations:

• Work every home football game weekend
• Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with the purchase of merchandise or services.
• Shelve, arrange, clean, and organize product or space within the store to maintain an appealing sales floor.
• Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and/or products.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position and stand for the duration of your shift.
• Frequent lifting.
• Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly with or without reasonable accommodations

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for employment.
• High-energy, friendly personality, with strong communication skills to interact with a variety of people.
• Outstanding customer service skills to match customers to products that meet their needs.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
