POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Front Desk/Reservationist at Resort Properties of Angel Fire, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience. You’ll engage with potential guests, offer thoughtful recommendations, and manage reservations through our vacation rental booking software with consistency and care.

In this role, your reliability and strong sense of organization will help ensure the lobby and shared spaces are always clean, orderly, and ready to impress. You’ll assist with guest inquiries, direct them to the appropriate team members, and stay informed on company policies, rates, and local happenings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Speak with potential guests, make recommendations, and book reservations.
  • Manage leads and convert to booked reservations using vacation rental booking software.
  • Directs guests to appropriate staff for assistance with questions and special requests regarding policies, or housekeeping.
  • Treats requests with professionalism, tact, and a courteous manner.
  • Ensures the lobby and shared areas are neat and orderly.
  • Maintains knowledge of policies including rates, discounts, special offerings, and community events.
  • Maintains knowledge of upcoming events, local area, and hotel offerings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned, such as filing and inspecting properties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least one year of experience with the hotel (preferred), one year of experience in customer service is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills including dealing with difficult and rude patrons.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with the local area with the ability to provide directions and maps to local attractions and destinations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • You will be part of 'can-do team'; a willingness to help when help is needed is essential.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Pay Range: $14 - $15 based on experience

Bonus

Opportunity to earn a bonus following peak seasons, based on performance and overall contribution.
