Job Description

MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE AS A FORKLIFT OPERATOR 

Connect Staffing is seeking experienced Forklift Operator to fill an opening at a large warehouse located in Jurupa Valley, CA.

Schedule: 1st shift: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm 

Requirements for forklift operators:

• 1 year of recent Forklift experience.
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Must have OSHA forklift certification
• Steel Toe Boots
• Prior experience in roles such as sit-down Forklift Driver, Forklift Operator, Industrial Truck Operator, Lift Truck Operator, Reach Truck Driver, Cherry Picker Operator, or Material Handler is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the forklift operators:

• Responsible for other heavy equipment to safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise around the facility 
• Put away and receiving pallets
• Ability to drive a forklift- Ability to lift 65 to 100 pounds- Ability to climb on and off of required equipment
• Work closely with other team members in the receiving department to ensure timely processing of goods and efficient workflow.
• Actively participates in plant cleanliness by restacking, picking-up trash and debris, and washing their equipment
