**Job Title: 1st Shift Forklift Operator** **Job Description** The role involves operating a forklift to efficiently load and unload materials and deliveries, and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, as well as into trucks or storage facilities. **Responsibilities** + Obtain a copy of the production schedule or shipping order and transport materials or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility. + Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines according to the production schedule. + Load and unload goods from vehicles. + Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility. + Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions. + Stack empty pallets. + Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines. + Dump materials into machine hoppers. **Essential Skills** + 6 months to 1 year of forklift operating experience (sit down or stand up). + Experience in material handling, picking, packing, and unloading. + Proficiency with RF scanners. + Experience in shipping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Ability to lift 10-30 lbs consistently. + Ability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours per day. **Why Work Here?** Join a stable and growing company recently acquired by a prestigious $8 billion organization. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
