Forensic Accounting Director

Our client is searching for a Forensic Accounting Director to join their successful and growing CPA firm. Ideal candidates will have public accounting firm experience supporting litigation.

Forensic Accounting Director Responsibilities

• Conduct valuation, forensic, and appraisal analyses, which entail creating comparative adjusted financial statements and providing data input for expert witness exhibits.
• Perform many duties of an advance level forensic accountant including working directly for corporate clients, under the supervision of upper level management
• Provide case direction and strategy
• Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings as well as case direction and strategy
• Lead and direct forensic accounting department
• Identify and communicate case issues, finding, and improvement opportunities with managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during engagements

Forensic Accounting Director Requirements

• CPA is required
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in forensic accounting
• Knowledgeable of the relevant statutory and family codes and their applicability to accounting principles in performance of forensic accounting
• Ability to provide expert testimony
• Strong leadership skills for staff training
• Effective communication with attorneys and clients
