Flowers of Charlotte also owns and operates the Flower Market which provides high-quality wholesale flowers and supplies to both individuals and businesses, making it a one-stop-shop for all of their floral needs.

Who you are

You have a passion for floral design and a keen, creative eye. Have a demonstrated proficiency in various floral design techniques and principles. You will be committed to deliver exceptional customer service and superior communication skills. You should have ability to handle high-pressure situations and tight deadlines with poise. Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish will be considered a significant asset, but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail.

What you'll do

• Create breathtaking floral designs suitable for our fast-paced floral shop and market.
• Interact with customers, grasping their visions and translating them into floral masterpieces.
• Handle e-commerce partner design requirements while also showcasing originality in other creations.
• Ensure the proper care, processing, and storage of incoming flowers and greenery.
• Maintain an organized, clean workspace, including the flower coolers.

Requirements

• Ability to work well both in a team and independently.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Creativity and exceptional floral design skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong customer service skills, including patience, empathy, and problem-solving.
• General knowledge of flower names is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a retail flower shop and occasionally work on-site at events.
• The work environment may be fast-paced and require extended periods of standing and lifting.
• Flexibility in work schedule, which may include evenings and weekends.
