About the Job Compleat Rehab and Sports Medicine is looking for a Floating Front Desk Patient Advocate who would like to join our Adult Rehab family. The Floating Front Desk Patient Advocate (FDPA) will act as the “face” of the Compleat Rehab clinic, providing excellent customer service while also covering all PTOs, extended leave, callouts, etc.
The Floating FDPA is a guaranteed 40-hour position and would be working in the Charlotte Metro Areas.
Basic Accountability Statement:
To ensure Compleat patients receive the highest customer service and manage all front desk responsibilities efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Traveling between all locations to assist with FDPA duties as needed
Oversight and maintaining an efficient schedule that supports both the patients and therapists in alignment with the Daily Scheduling Parameters
Tracking referrals and referral sources while developing/maintaining relationships with the referral coordinators
Drive compliance for current and new patients to insure a 90% weekly compliance
Ability to discuss insurance benefits with patients and formulate a plan for payment of services rendered
Working with central scheduler, benefits, and authorization department to ensure compliance with established metrics
Administrative duties and entry of data into EMR system
Ensuring all information is entered for claims to release for billing
Maintain a First Pass Payment Rate of 90% or greater
Collection of patient balances and holding of services determinations
Ensuring correct patient demographic information and monthly updates to ensure correct information is entered
Posting of checks mailed in by patients to account
Ensure compliance and Medicare guidelines are followed
Supply ordering for office and clinical needs
Responsible for Corrections Queue issues for assigned clinic and correcting these issues within a 24-hour timeframe
Execute daily activities that drive meeting performance metrics established for assigned clinic
Weekly bank deposit (reconciliation and making the deposit)
Requirements
Pass a Background Check
Associate degree proffered
Ability to multi-task
Outstanding customer service skills
2 years front desk/receptionist experience would be nice.
