Description:

Our federal agency customer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FITARA Senior Analyst to help improve FITARA (Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act) scorecard ratings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FITARA requirements and best practices, as well as experience in developing and implementing strategies to enhance IT governance, transparency, and efficiency within a federal agency.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze the agency's current FITARA scorecard and identify areas for improvement.
2. Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to address identified weaknesses and improve the agency's FITARA score.
3. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT leadership, procurement, and program management, to ensure alignment with FITARA goals.
4. Monitor and report on the agency's progress in meeting FITARA objectives and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest FITARA requirements, guidance, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
6. Facilitate communication and coordination between the agency and oversight bodies, such as the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
7. Develop and deliver training programs to educate agency personnel on FITARA requirements and their roles in achieving compliance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT management, governance, or compliance within a federal agency setting.
3. Deep understanding of FITARA requirements, scorecards, and best practices.
4. Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies to improve IT governance and efficiency.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex challenges.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
8. Familiarity with federal IT acquisition processes and regulations.

Work is primarily remote with occasional customer meetings in Washington D.C.
The position is open until filled, and the salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
