Figma Web Designer (JB5518) Location : Fully Remote (SA-based applicants only) Salary : Market Related Employment Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor Workplace: Fully Remote, aligned to UK Time Zone An established creative team is seeking a Visual Web Designer to bring brand stories to life through modern , conversion-led website design . This role focuses purely on visual design . You’ll be creating full website layouts in Figma with a strong emphasis on layout , hierarchy , colour , and typography . No wireframes, UX flows, or coding required . You’ll work directly with clients to understand their vision, present your work with confidence, and guide them through the design journey from concept to sign-off . Once approved, your designs will be passed to an internal development team for build, allowing you to focus on high-impact creative work . This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a graphic design background who now thrives in Figma and enjoys taking ownership of end-to-end web design projects. A strong portfolio showcasing full web designs (not just wireframes). High proficiency in Figma , with a solid working knowledge of Photoshop Excellent understanding of layout, colour, typography , and visual hierarchy . Confident communicator, comfortable speaking to clients. Strong ability to present and justify creative ideas professionally. Self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple deadlines. Collaborative, detail-oriented , and enthusiastic about producing top-quality design. Experience working in a fast-paced or client-facing environment. Key Responsibilities: Designing beautiful, high-converting website interfaces in Figma . Creating visuals , image treatments, and supporting graphics (e.g., in Photoshop) Applying design principles that reflect user behaviour and drive engagement . Leading client conversations to interpret briefs, present ideas, and refine designs. Taking ownership of your design projects from concept to delivery. Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines. Collaborating closely with SEO , branding , and development colleagues. Preparing final designs with clear documentation for developers. Occasionally contributing to brand identity or logo design. Maintaining visual consistency across projects Participating in team brainstorms , creative reviews , and process improvements .
