POSITION OVERVIEW:

DakotaPro operates a large, fixed-wireless network across the Tucson metro area as well as parts of Cochise and Santa Cruz counties. The Field Services team is responsible for all facets of this network. Applicants for this position could be dispatched to any portion of the coverage area. Applicants will also assist with infrastructure and facility maintenance tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Installation, test, turn-up and troubleshooting of wireless customer premise equipment
  
• Perform on-site qualifications for wireless and telecom installations
  
• Installation of Cat5, Cat6 structured wiring
  
• Plan, prepare, successfully deploy and document installations as directed
  
• Assist in wireless Site, infrastructure, and facilities construction and maintenance
  
• May be required to work some nights and weekends
  
• Perform work with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  
• Technically and mechanically inclined with problem solving skills
  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Basic understanding / experience in deploying wireless technology
  
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS and IP schemes in a network environment
  
• Promptness, cleanliness, professional appearance and attention to detail
  
• Valid driver's license with excellent driving record
  
• Ability to administer a safe work environment, and lift 50lbs. on a regular basis
  
• Able to use ladders and work on buildings.
  
• Knowledge and ability to utilize power and hand tools
  
• Desire to work both independently and in a team environment
  
• Ability to communicate clear and concise instructions and information to coworkers, supervisors, customers and others.
  
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, plan and organize work schedules.
  
• Ability to consistently provide quality work without close supervision and to make sound decisions, compatible with prior instructions
  

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Basic familiarity with Telco terminology a plus
  
• Personal computer spreadsheet experience
  
• Comp TIA Net+ or desire to attain
