What We Do and Why We Do It

As a leading end-to-end investment platform for single-family rental homes, our mission is to make real estate investing radically accessible, cost-effective, and simple. We are passionate about helping investors build wealth through real estate and leverage cutting-edge technology to transform their investing experience.

How We're Growing

With a talented team of over 600 dedicated professionals, our collaborative and can-do culture fuels our growth. In 2022, we successfully closed our Series E funding round, raising $240 million. Our offices span California, Texas, and New York, along with many remote opportunities. Our recent growth includes exciting acquisitions of innovative companies, enhancing our capabilities in financial and asset management, tenant screening, and property management.

About the Role

We are seeking a Field Dispatcher who will play a crucial role as the project coordinator for scheduling our on-the-ground resources, including In-House Technicians and Portfolio Associates. In this position, you will manage all aspects of property management tasks, inspections, and repairs, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed about completion timelines.

You will be empowered to take the lead in our ground operations by receiving comprehensive training on our proprietary software and learning the nuances of the property management and repairs business. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a strong problem-solving mindset and infectious enthusiasm to help maximize our owners' investments while providing our residents with homes they love!

Responsibilities:

Manage the entire process for occupied and vacant work orders completed in-house, including accepting requests, coordinating with residents, scheduling technicians, verifying completion, and submitting for approval.
Research, schedule, assign, and follow up on home inspections and various property management tasks.
Provide outstanding support to our In-House Technicians and Portfolio Associates, ensuring they have the necessary context, availability to address challenges, and follow-up on any unsuccessful visits.
Oversee electronic record keeping related to repairs and maintenance, including internal communications and resident-related issues.
Collaborate with other departments to prioritize and complete repairs, maintenance, and property management tasks, setting clear expectations, providing updates, and requesting additional resources as needed.
Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Previous experience in property management, vendor management, or utility management is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Google Applications, Microsoft Office Applications, and Slack is preferred.
Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to meet deadlines and proactively adjust expectations as necessary.
A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to excellence and achieving goals.
Ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within various teams and committees.
Compensation:

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour. This range may be adjusted based on experience and location.
