Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established family law firm with multiple offices across North and South Carolina. Their practice areas include family law, trusts and estates, adoption, mediation, and more. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join their Rock Hill, South Carolina office.

Job Description:

The Family Law Attorney will provide legal representation to clients facing sensitive family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, spousal support, domestic violence cases, and asset division. This role requires a compassionate yet strategic approach to advocating for clients while navigating complex legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law hearings, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and manage discovery processes.
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing clear and empathetic communication.
• Stay informed on local family law regulations and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Active member in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar (NC Bar license is a plus).
• 4+ years of experience in family law.
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures and local court rules.
• Ability to manage cases independently while maintaining client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in high-stress situations.
• Professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented mindset.

Additional Details:

Ideal candidates are proactive problem solvers, organized, and self-motivated. Community involvement in York, Lancaster, Chester, or Chesterfield counties is a plus.
