Job Description

Job Summary:

Assistant will have primary responsibility for general administration that directly reports to the Sales Manager. Responsible for working with internal departments to provide outstanding customer service that will inspire guests to return to Camp Kulaqua to experience an atmosphere that draws them closer to the Creator, and one another.


Skills, Education, and Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least two (2) years related administrative experience, preferably in a high-volume sales or hospitality environment.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish (preferred)

Position Qualifications: (Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities.)

  • Uphold the standards and policies of the Florida Conference of SDA’s and Camp Kulaqua.
  • Perform all work tasks/duties according to Florida Conference/Camp Kulaqua safety standards.
  • Ability to be professional in both attire and demeanor in a manner consistent with company standards at all times.Must be able to project warmth, sincerity, calm, and graciousness.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing world class internal and external guest service.
  • Maintain and promote a team work environment with effective and clear communication amongst co-workers.
  • Ensure the best service is being made available through communication amongst the team, cross training within the department and appropriate office coverage.
  • Assisting and advising groups who may be choosing from a variety of options.
  • Answering any questions groups might have about the sales process
  • Assisting with receiving payments and sending confirmation details to groups.
  • Assisting with conducting tours
  • Set example through professional, friendly attitude towards clients and co-workers, timely response to clients and co-workers needs and observance of sales office standard.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Sales Manager
  • Working experience in using office equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and in-house software program
  • Excellent people and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve the client’s issues promptly.  
  • Ability to offer exceptional customer service.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently with the ability to prioritize tasks. 
  • Extraordinary time management and organizational skills. 
  • Must have a team spirit and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and productively in an office setting.
  • Highly detail orientation

Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with guests, must remain calm under pressure and exhibit courtesy, diplomacy and kindness, both in person and through other communication avenues.
