Job Description

Position: Event Planner FLSA: Exempt (eligible for overtime in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations) Pay Range: $65,000-90,000* annually Schedule: This full-time position will work onsite from the Florissant, MO campus. Reporting to: VP of Hospitality and Facilities Position Summary The Event Planner will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing meetings, conferences, and special events for the Augustine Institute. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. Specific duties are listed below but may not be all-inclusive. Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of meetings, conferences, and special events. Develop event timelines, budgets, and logistical plans to ensure successful execution. Source and manage vendors, off-site venues if applicable, and other event-related services. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all event details are executed according to plan. Manage event registration, guest lists, and RSVPs. Oversee on-site event management, including setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting. Evaluate event success and provide post-event analysis and recommendations for future improvements. Must be available to work outside of business hours (evenings and weekends as needed) for events. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Prior related professional experience in event planning and coordination. Strong project management skills with effective prioritization skills. Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience planning, coordinating, and executing meetings, conferences, and special events. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in event management software and tools. Available to work evenings and weekends as needed for events. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, lift, type and use office equipment, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions, lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 10 pounds. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in a climate-controlled office setting, but may travel off campus to support event planning and coordination
