Job Description

Job Title: Part-Time Event Coordinator Location: Varies Reports To: Marketing Manager Hours: Part-Time (on-call/evenings and weekends as needed) Position Overview: Polestar Philadelphia is seeking a dynamic, organized, and outgoing Part-Time Event Coordinator to help grow our community presence and drive customer engagement through events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scouting, attending, and coordinating events that promote our dealership, vehicles, and brand. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a passion for events, networking, and automotive enthusiasm. Key Responsibilities: * Event Scouting & Planning: * Research and identify relevant local events (auto shows, festivals, community gatherings, trade expos, sponsorships etc.) for dealership participation. * Coordinate with event organizers to secure space, permits, or sponsorships. * Propose and plan dealership-hosted events such as launch parties, test drive experiences, or customer appreciation days. * Event Execution: * Attend and represent the dealership at off-site events. * Coordinate logistics including transportation of display vehicles, setup of booth materials, signage, and promotional items. * Manage event setup, staff scheduling, and breakdown. * Ensure brand standards are maintained across all event materials and experiences. * Engagement & Follow-Up: * Act as a brand ambassador, engaging with attendees and collecting leads. * Capture content (photos/video) for use in social media and marketing. * Report on event performance and outcomes; suggest improvements for future events. Qualifications: * Previous event planning, promotional, or marketing experience preferred. * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work evenings and weekends based on event schedule. * Comfortable working independently and on-site at various locations. * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. * Enthusiastic about the automotive industry and community engagement. Preferred Skills: * Social media savvy (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) for on-the-go content posting. * Experience with basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.) is a plus. * Bilingual is a bonus.
