We are a full service general contractor in Indianapolis who has contributed to the beauty of communities by constructing fountains, parks, open spaces, and recreational facilities. The company has also been serving the in-plant construction needs of our many manufacturing company clients. The resources of our Corporation include a large, well-trained work force and a fleet of heavy equipment. These resources combine to provide our clients a commitment to their work that it will be done in a professional, timely manner with a concern for an excellent finished product. We believe in providing first-class construction solutions for our clients at a fair price and with the same care and concern we have for our family of employees.

We are now looking to add a strong Estimator to our team!

What You Need

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience estimating within construction industry
• Overall understanding and background knowledge in architectural, structural, civil,
• Understanding of Project Management software
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Proficient knowledge in quantity take off and estimating software
  
  

What You Will Be Doing

• Responsible for entire estimate process while potentially working in collaboration with other estimators, sales and project managers to develop a full and complete estimate
• Evaluate plans and bid documents to determine level of completion, risk issues (along with the magnitude of such issues)
• Track, analyze and compare historical cost data to current costs for use in budgeting, rule of thumb checks and firm pricing
• Subcontractor solicitation, follow up and quote evaluation.
• Quantity takeoffs for both subcontractor and self-perform scopes of works.
