**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician** **Job Description** This position involves working from 9 PM to 6 AM, Sunday through Thursday, with the possibility of working on Fridays when scheduled. The Maintenance Electrician is expected to work independently during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience leading and developing people, as there are plans to initiate an apprentice program under this position. Experience in Food and Beverage manufacturing is highly desirable, specifically with equipment such as ovens, mixers, chillers, and fridges. **Responsibilities** + Complete work orders in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards. + Document maintenance and set-up procedures accurately. + Fill servicing paperwork in accordance with SOPs. + Utilize a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for process enhancement. + Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. + Troubleshoot and repair gear cases, drives, bearings, sprockets, chains, shafts, seals, etc. + Overhaul equipment as necessary. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. + Experience with PLCs, 480V systems, and wiring. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, service manuals, and work orders. + Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical wiring diagrams. + Experience with wiring and troubleshooting 220-480 volts 3 phase motors, DC motors, electrical panels, variable frequency drives, and manual machine interfaces. + Mechanical skills including gear cases and drives, replacement of bearings, sprockets, chains, shafts, seals, and overhauling equipment. + Experience with industrial electrician duties and maintenance techniques. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum of four (4) years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance. + Experience in Food and Beverage manufacturing is a significant plus. **Why Work Here?** This role offers the opportunity to lead a shift and train apprentices, providing a direct placement opportunity with growth potential.
